They had a folk hoist that was used to move containers around the yard but during covid they weren't using their gear as much, resulting in the batteries in the vehicle getting flat. They would have to jump start the vehicle and didn't want to continue doing that. They asked us to find a way to keep the batteries charged without disconnecting the batteries.

We came up with a plan to install solar panels to supply a small amount of electricity consistently to keep the batteries topped up. We got the approval from the company for our idea and we bought the parts and fitted the panels on the folk hoist within a few hours and now the folk hoist never has trouble starting.
